The Plot

Picture this: Yet another Monday morning, trumpet blown for call of duty and you’ve begin the same monotonous routine – one and a half hours of drive to an uninspiring job, cursing the notorious traffic or murmuring the public transport is horribly crowded. At the office front, you fought bravely through the day and managed to endure heavy bombardment of RFPs, e-mails, client meetings, reviews etc & survive the daily grind. Back at home! On your couch watch all your guilty pleasures on television, prepare revised counter-boss strategy and guerilla tactics for tomorrow, manage family obligations etc.

Soon cultivate, an illusory living pattern a habitual enslavement that invade your passion of having a spectacular life. A few quarters later, you can’t take Monday morning madness! You’ve had enough of the awesome dream job, disgruntled office mates, girlfriend, wife and kids, life’s incomprehensible contradictions, and a metro life of unexpected eccentrics. One day, you decide to get rid of this circus of life and explore unchartered territory for a subtle blissful life.

Ah! Pause and take a long breath. In this journey of life, you are not alone whose brilliance is faded among trillions, tired of living an unfulfilling existence, oscillating between workplace and home, as time passes by. It’s the tale of every generation – struggle for individuality, struggle for a worthy remembrance!!

The Characters- Engineers, Management graduates working in India’s most reputed business group -TATA.

The Screenplay

The characters job mission is to fight with ethics and win battle for IT projects. In the battleground of RFP/Tender the characters comes in contact with a slew of other prominent characters. These include bureaucrats; senior management of PSU’s. Many battles fought, some won some lost! Each time made confidant in OEM’s–IBM, HP and peers in rival Wipro, HCL Infosys etal. Life was sailing comfortably, till Y-O-Y super annuation experience, interaction with other prominent characters, confidant, peers and the toll of battles piled up a storm cloud.

In autumn of 2009, lightening strike within and trigger questions that changes their perspective on life, they are

1.What’s our identity? Just the title on the business card or the brand of organisation.

2.If so, after retirement. What’s our identity?

3.What’s the fun working unreasonably for 3-4 decades, hopping jobs for few bucks and then on the death bed ponder upon the past and confess I could have done better, to be at least remembered. Seriously a big joke of a great word “Freedom”.

The hangover of divine materialistic world was over. The fundamentals are clear “Character Come, Character Go” some create footnote in the history others vanish in the humdrum of the daily grind. They vowed to initiate an endeavor, leads to meaningful change rooted in everyday life.

In pursuit of a noble idea– significant yet common to everyday life that can be redefine, reinvent and rediscover. An intense war scale preparations started, after weeks of fierce offensive and search operations across most media (web, print, radio, TV) on a ceasefire day i.e. Sunday. They seize the ammunition, the noble idea in a leading magazine which tends to focus on advertisement and articles that are controversial, spicy to attract people’s attention. The magazine was bought and taken in remand and few other magazines were also detained for research and interrogation. The analysis was an eye-opener–all information, where are the insightful, inspiring and enlightening content??

In the backdrop of; we live in an era of knowledge economy, the verdict was out “we deserve better”. Its high time people decide for themselves what they want to read instead of passively reading something being broadcasted by an individual or an enterprise. Thus concieved RememME.com.

And as you know, as the years decline, and the memories stale, and all your great achievements fade. It will always be remembered, You did good deeds,You wrote great words and your legacy will live on !!
